Arthur, son of Poseidon, was cast under a mortal curse: only by enduring eighteen years of utter humiliation could his divine essence be unsealed. Toiling as a pearl-diving slave at the very bottom of society, Arthur one day used his own god-blood to save the Queen of Atlantis, who lay dying from abyssal venom—then walked away without taking a single coin in return.
He returned home with a full heart, only to catch his fiancée Lyla in bed with Cassius, a nobleman who styled himself a "demigod." Lyla betrayed him without remorse, while Cassius went further—falsely claiming the bloodline of Poseidon for himself, he had Arthur cast back into chains and tortured without mercy.
At the Festival of the Sea God, Cassius attempted to draw the sacred Trident and claim the crown, only to be violently repelled by the artifact itself, humiliated before all. In his shame and rage, he turned on Arthur's disabled adoptive mother, Martha, and beat her savagely. Her screams ignited something ancient within Arthur—and the final seal shattered with a thunderous crack.
Arthur awakened his true divine bloodline. The Trident flew to his hand and acknowledged him as its master; the aloof Queen knelt before the crowd and offered her hand in marriage; and Cassius was exposed for what he truly was—the spawn of an abyssal sea demon.
Abandoned by all, Cassius abducted Martha and fled into the Trench of Death. Arthur and the Queen pursued him into the abyss, where a single strike of the Trident split Cassius—now transformed into a colossal deep-sea leviathan—into dust.
In the end, the will of Poseidon descended with its blessing. Arthur healed his mother, exiled his treacherous, status-obsessed former fiancée forever, and wed the Queen. From a slave scorned by all, he rose to become the sovereign who shattered the chains of class and ruled over every sea.
