Kalen, a northern blacksmith raised by the legendary warrior Silas, carries an incredibly powerful golden-eye bloodline capable of shaking the entire continent. Silas gifts him a half vampire fang token and sends him south to fulfill an ancient marriage contract with the noble Ashburn family.
On his journey, Kalen rescues Laila, the youngest daughter of the Ashburns, and gets entangled in brutal wars raging between the four major vampire clans, the Vampire Council, and feral orc tribes. He soon uncovers the shocking truth: he is the long-abandoned eldest son of the Ashburns and Isolde, discarded twenty years ago.
To protect his mother and his new family, Kalen awakens his supreme golden eyes publicly and battles formidable foes including Clanson and Vaughn. With the help of Silas, Laila, and the demon hunter Ella, he ventures into a hidden secret realm.
In the end, Kalen inherits the power of Cain, the original vampire ancestor. He defeats the Orc King and the Blood Moon Wolf Lord, using his mighty golden-eye power to defend his loved ones and forge his own legacy.
