The second day after Emma was discharged from the hospital following a cesarean section, Diane, her mother-in-law who had promised to care for her for four weeks, abandoned her. Her husband Jake not only canceled the professional care service but also secretly recorded videos, preparing to prove that she was "unfit to be a mother".
When Emma traced the abnormal transfers, she found that Jake was having an affair with Olivia, a financial executive, who intended to use their joint account, home equity and baby shower gifts to fill the hole in their project and then take custody of the child. Emma concealed her identity as a Whitmore heir, hired a caregiver, froze her credit, preserved medical and surveillance records, and secretly launched an audit. At the newborn meeting, the embezzlement and forged signatures were exposed in public. Emma first secured custody of her child with the evidence, then publicly revealed her identity to settle accounts with Jake, Olivia and Diane, recovered her assets, ended the marriage, and established an emergency postpartum care center.
