Twin sisters Evie and Chloe share a love of dance, but only Evie has a gift for choreography.
Through a mysterious mental link, Chloe can sense every step Evie creates. She performs the
routines first, exploits their mother Linda’s favoritism, and leaves Evie branded a copycat. On
competition day, Evie suffers a medical crisis alone in her bedroom. Chloe feels her sister
weakening, yet fakes chest pain and collapses repeatedly to keep their parents from going
home—while demanding the final thirty seconds of Evie’s new routine. Evie dies unseen, and
her spirit can appear to Chloe only in mirrors. Without the link, Chloe cannot create a single new
combination and hides behind old dances and fresh lies. A voicemail, home videos, and Chloe’s
own confession finally expose years of theft. Her awards are revoked and every credit is restored
to Evie. At a memorial performance, Chloe publicly admits the truth and steps aside as Evie’s
spirit completes—and carries away—her final dance.
