Serena, a modern film-set makeup artist, accidentally transmigrates into a medieval script — and in her very first scene walks in on the bloodthirsty, unhinged Grand Duke Draven's murder! To avoid being silenced, she can only brazenly pretend to be blind, relying on her god-tier special-effects makeup kit to repeatedly talk her way out of danger. She means to put on a "Halloween ugly look" at the bride-selection ball so she'll lose and save her life, but unexpectedly gets hand-betrothed on the spot by this executioner-like, blood-soaked Grand Duke! After the wedding, to stop the Duke from turning dark according to the original plot and sending everyone to the guillotine, she both cranks up her acting with wild, clingy spoiled-wife antics, and secretly pours in her dowry to whitewash his image. When her fake-blindness and foreknowledge of the plot are ruthlessly exposed, the tyrant locks her in the dungeon. Yet after she hardcores her way out of prison, changes her identity, and builds her own career, the once-untouchable man who ascended the throne over rivers of blood completely loses his mind! He lays waste to the royal capital and drops to both knees before her bed, clutching a priceless crown with red-rimmed eyes: "My life, my sword, even this country — it's all yours. I beg you, be my queen!" A drama-queen survival expert versus a paranoid, dark-bellied tyrant — extreme push-pull, crematorium satisfaction cranked to the max!
