Chloe, an orphan adopted by the Margarets, was tricked into an unplanned pregnancy and cast out. Three years on, she struggles to raise her daughter Amy alone in a modest Los Angeles apartment. At a hospital vaccination visit, Amy wanders into the room of comatose tycoon Alexander Carter. His grandfather Richard spots her uncanny likeness to Alexander, and a DNA test proves Amy is Carter’s child.
As the Margarets face a cash crisis, they coerce Chloe into marrying nearly 60-year-old Mr. Smith for a $5 million investment. When the pair are trapped and attacked, Alexander suddenly regains consciousness and storms in with armed bodyguards — setting the stage for a dramatic family reunion and reckoning with the villains.
